A VERSATILE EYE. A PERSONAL RESULT.
Our Philosophy
Our work is shaped by listening, not imposing. We believe the most compelling interiors aren’t defined by a designer’s look, but by the people who live in them.
With a highly adaptive design approach, we translate your style—whether classic, modern, layered, or evolving—into spaces that feel intentional, livable, and deeply personal.
About the Firm
Established in 2012, Elana Rudiger Interior Design is a full-service residential interior design studio based in Winchester, MA. We service the greater Boston area, the New Hampshire lake region, Cape Cod and the islands, and beyond.
No two homes—and no two clients—are the same. That’s where we thrive.
Our work spans a wide design spectrum, from historically rooted interiors to fresh, modern spaces, always grounded in the way our clients live today. We don’t arrive with a signature look; we arrive with open minds, a trained eye, and decades of experience that allow us to design with range and intention.
Behind the scenes, our small but mighty studio is built for agility. We work efficiently, communicate clearly, and adjust quickly when projects evolve, as they inevitably do. The result is a process that feels thoughtful, flexible, and deeply personal, delivering homes that are as considered as they are livable.
“I have worked with a handful of designers, and none of them compared to Elana’s ability to understand and deliver the vibe I was trying to achieve. She is supremely intuitive, has an impeccable eye, and her attention to quality and taste sets her apart.”
OWNER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Elana Rudiger
With a degree from Parson’s School of Design and years working in product and showroom design for Martha Stewart and Pottery Barn Kids, Elana’s extensive background brings a distinct creative lens to her design work.
A mother of three, Elana finds inspiration in both the everyday and the far-flung — from a great film and a perfectly made paloma to planning trips both near and far. She loves fall in New England, antique markets, skiing, and a good NYT puzzle. Her philosophy at home is simple: keep it thoughtful, keep it joyful, and keep dinner under 30 minutes.
“I’m happiest when I’m deep in the details, shaping every layer of a project alongside my clients. That’s why I’ve chosen to keep my studio small — so I can stay close to the work and create meaningful partnerships along the way.”
